Originally built in 1986, this homeowner wanted to completely remodel the entire home while still wanting to keep its historical appeal. M&M devised a plan with the homeowner and renovated this home one floor at a time so the homeowners could still live there. From start to finish, the renovation took approximately 10 months to complete but the outcome was worth the wait!

The exterior of the home was re-shingled in 30-year HD architectural shingles, completely re-sided in LP shakes, new windows with window grids were put in as well as the whole house getting re-painted a soft gray and white trim color with an accented turquoise colored front door for a sense of vibrancy. The original chimney was kept intact during the entire process. Internally, a new concrete basement floor was poured and waterproofed, walls were spray foam insulated, a new HVAC system and new plumbing throughout the home was installed giving it many more years of efficient living.

Upon entering the front door of the home, you will find the main level open living space where new hardwood floors were installed to match the existing wood floors upstairs. New white enameled baseboards, window stool & apron, and crown molding was installed throughout the home keeping up with the traditional feel and creating a light and airy feel for when entering the home. The timeless living room space features a fireplace with Cambria solid surface surround paired with a classic white mantel, surrendering an enduring fireplace design. On the other end of the home through a set of french doors is an office with plenty of natural light and a custom built-in cabinet across the back wall.

Around the corner the dining room is nicely situated next to the kitchen and great room space where another fireplace and custom cabinets flank each side. Bold artwork, accented blue sitting chairs, and statement pillows effortlessly tie this room together.

The white custom cabinetry continues into the kitchen area, with ottoman mosaic cracked-gloss tile backsplash as the vivid focal point, creating a crisp backdrop. Completed with polished nickel fixtures and an ample size island with arched overhang and end seating, this kitchen is inspiring. An elegant powder bathroom with wainscoting and all-around wallpaper and a generous mudroom with a frost and concrete multicolored hexagon floor, floor-to-ceiling cabinets, a bench & hook area all surrounded in a creative matching wallpaper create a beautiful cohesive look to this home.

Up the staircase with a watercolor-like patterned stair runner, you will find a charming guest bedroom and full bathroom and the primary suite. The primary suite has his and her separate vanities, a soaking tub, walk-in marble shower and plenty of storage cabinets all in that crisp white finish and accented crown molding. The wood floors are original and were refinished. A touch of geometric flower wallpaper in the hallway adds an extra special element to this upstairs.

Downstairs is equipped with another bedroom, spacious full bathroom with a black and white mosaic tile floor, and living room with fireplace, and sitting area. A soft neutral carpet throughout brings a warm and welcome feeling to this lower level.
